Gathering Within

This archival print by contemporary abstract artist, Shannon Parks, is part of her collection entitled "The Marks That Make Us" - works that celebrate the human form as a record of what it has lived through.

The original artwork is 30" x 24", acrylic and mixed media on canvas.

Collecting the scattered pieces of herself. Holding them close until they settle. Some strength isn't shown. It's gathered quietly, within, long before it's ever called on.
