Time Written Into Her

This archival print by contemporary abstract artist, Shannon Parks, is part of her collection entitled "The Marks That Make Us" - works that celebrate the human form as a record of what it has lived through.

The original artwork is 16" x 20", acrylic and mixed media on canvas.

Our skin keeps a diary. Beneath the pigment, words surface. Look closely and the marks resolve into words you can almost read; look away and they dissolve back into color, texture, memory.
